Call for Nominations: PTA Executive Board

Dear Parents and Guardians,

The GOK Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) is now accepting nominations for positions on the PTA Executive Board for the upcoming school year. The Executive Board plays a vital role in supporting our students, teachers, and school community, and we invite you to consider nominating yourself or another dedicated member of our school community.

Serving on the Executive Board is a rewarding opportunity to:

Help shape programs and activities that benefit our students
Collaborate with parents, teachers, and school leadership
Build a stronger, more connected school community
Share your skills and ideas in a meaningful way

Open Positions

The following positions are open for nomination:

President
Vice President
Secretary
Treasurer

Brief descriptions of each role and their responsibilities are available upon request and will be shared prior to elections.

Who Can Be Nominated?

Any individual who is a member of the GOK PTA is eligible for nomination. No prior PTA experience is required—just a willingness to participate, collaborate, and support our school.

How to Submit a Nomination

To submit a nomination:

Email the nominating committee: nominations@gokpta.com.
Indicate the position for which the nominee is being recommended.
Obtain the nominee’s consent before submitting their name.

Nominations must be submitted by May 1st.

Election Information

Elections will be held on May 13th at the PTA Community Meeting (5:30PM in the staff lounge). All PTA members are encouraged to attend and participate.
